Marnus Labuschagne, who was ignored by Cricket Australia for the World Cup 2023, is now making a statement with his willow. In the second match of the series against South Africa, the classy right-hander displayed a cracking century and totally eclipsed the left-hander's remarkable century.

In the second match of the series, Marnus gets a chance to feature in the playing eleven in place of injured Cameron Green. He came in at number four after the dismissal of Skipper Marsh. His partner David Warner also completed his 19th ODI ton scoring 106 (93); he got out straight after getting the landmark, but Labuschagne stayed at the crease and stunned all the spotlights with his magnificence. Australia ended their inning with a huge total of 392 for the opposing team because of the twin centuries by both players.
